Uncovering Black Joy in ECE Settings: Honoring Black Children in ECE Settings

You must have attended “DO NO HARM” prior to enrolling into this training.

All 4 sessions of this training must be attended.  No partial PD hours will be given.

OBJECTIVES：
• Understanding and responding to issues of
racism and injustice in ECE programs.
• Understand the urgency to support and uplift
Black children in ECE settngs.
• Connecting and relating to Black families in
meaningful, supportive ways.
• Disrupting the “Status Quo” to support the
learning / development for Black children.
• Understanding biases, reflecting on upbringing /
experiences, understanding social
intersectionality, and cultivating empowering
narratives.
