Sparkler for Early Educators
What is Sparkler?
DEC provides a free family engagement tool called Sparkler to all ECE providers in the City. Sparkler works with organizations like your program, serving young children and families, to bring the science of early childhood development into everyday life. Through a free mobile app and web-based dashboard, Sparkler empowers parents, grandparents, and caregivers to support young children’s growth right from the start.
How to Bring Sparkler to Your Program
Getting started with Sparkler is simple. Here’s how your program can begin using it to connect with families and support child development:
- Sign up your program by submitting an interest form.
- We will create a dashboard account for you and provide a special access code.
- Start inviting families to download the app and enter your access code.
- Start using the Dashboard to review data from developmental screenings and monitor progress towards milestones.
- Engage families with over 3000 learning and play activities at home or in the classroom.
