For anyone who has been<br \/>\ntrained in the CA Teaching Pyramid, this workshop focuses on understanding the nine<br \/>\ntemperament traits first described by Alexander Thomas and Stella Chess. Learning about<br \/>\ntemperament traits can lead to a better understanding of a child&#8217;s internal drive for some<br \/>\nbehaviors. We will explore temperament from a variety of perspectives:<br \/>\no Looking at temperament across cultures.<br \/>\no Adult temperament and \u201cGoodness of Fit\u201d.<br \/>\no Personality and temperament.<br \/>\no Strategies that support children who have temperament characteristics that might be seen<br \/>\nas \u201cdifficult\u201d.<br \/>\no How understanding temperament can help children thrive.<br \/>\nAttend either Friday or Saturday. Handouts will be provided, but feel free to bring your<br \/>\nTeaching Pyramid binder with you and come with your colleagues! Be sure to register so that<br \/>\nyou get the materials and breakfast!
